Temperament: Smart, reliable, easygoing, and bombproof, but still high energy. She is a very fast learner. She is a kicker, though, so watch out! Mostly when under saddle, and towards other horses, but we like to be careful. She doesn't pick favorites when it comes to people, behaving with the same standard for everyone who rides her. She's generally friendly, but apathetic unless you have treats. This can be frustrating for her young rider, who would love to have a "special bond."
Build: Heavier than most of our other ponies, with a thick neck, shortish legs, and very strong joints. Powerful hindquarters give her lots of impulsion! Despite being less sporty looking than the slimmer Scandinavian ponies, she has a lovely expression and head shape, and correct conformation. Her pasterns are a little short, though. She is hardy and tough, and stays fit even without a lot of work.
